Dr. Zhou received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), Xi’an, China, in 2010 and 2013, respectively, and her Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, in 2018. She was a lecturer at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Delft University of Technology (TUD) from 2017 to 2018, before joining Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), where she has been with the School of Aerospace Engineering for eight years and is currently an Associate Professor. Her research interests include reinforcement learning, autonomous and intelligent aerial systems, advanced flight control, and UAV swarm systems. She is actively involved in research supervision, international collaboration, and professional service in the reinforcement learning, aerospace, and control communities.
